Young and LGBT

Growing up and discovering your sexual orientation is hard enough when you’re part of the heterosexual norm. It’s even harder when you realize that you are not heterosexual, but rather homosexual, bisexual or transgender. We live in a world where being a “real” boy or girl means conforming to the norm that is based on heterosexuality. That’s why we need to take special care of non-heterosexual children and youth. And that’s why RFSL has a special federation devoted entirely to the needs of LGBT children, youth and young adults.
